If you like war with Iraq, you’ll love war with Iran

 In Iran

A recent episode of “Hardball” with Chris Matthews featured a debate on whether or not the US should bomb Iran now to prevent the government from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Jim Walsh of MIT was there to argue against bombing, and talked about the potential devastating consequences of attacking Iran. (Walsh also serves on the strategic leadership committee of the Peace and Security Initiative, alongside Peace Action West Executive Director Jon Rainwater). American Enterprise Institute resident scholar Joshua Muravchik struggles to come up with a logical answer when pressed about why there is an urgent need to bomb Iran now:

You can help counteract voices like Muravchik’s by writing your representative and asking him or her to cosponsor Rep. Mark Udall’s bill to prohibit military action against Iran without congressional approval.
