Kids explain how foreign aid helps create jobs in the US

One of the misguided reasons people criticize spending on foreign aid is that we need to spend money to create jobs and improve the quality of life here at home. While direct spending on those programs is essential (and could be easily funded with cuts in things like wasteful military spending), investing in international affairs programs can also help improve the economy in the US.

The US Global Leadership Council gathered up some cute kids to explain how spending money on diplomacy and development is not only the right thing to do, but can create jobs right here in the United States:
